The issue is that Independence Australia; care giving service provider had left one of their clients Jarrod, alone at night. No proper assistance is provided to him even though he is a person suffering from acute disability. Jarrod’s needs for assistance are ignored when he communicated with them in the hours of need. He was left without assistance to get into his bed. Further, it was told to him that no further assistance could be provided until next morning. He was left helpless in the middle of the night. The organisation breached the duty of care, that they are entitled to offer their patients during the service period. The organisation did not provide enough and adequate attention and care to Jarrod despite knowing the fact that he has a disability. It was the duty and responsibility of the service providers to ensure that they provide adequate care and attention to Jarrod. During night-time, it was seen that he was provided with any care and this affected his physical state.
Hence, the major issues in the present scenario are negligence of duty and intentional avoidance of providing the promised care to a service user. The organisation does not provide care or security to Jarrod when he needed it the most. The professionals did it intentionally, thereby breaching their duties of care giving and service rendering capacities. Jarrod’s satisfactory outcome is that he will stay in the organisation if he can be assured that this type of incident will not happen again. He will be given the proper security in all the circumstances. This letter has been written to lodge a complaint against the care servers for breaching their duty. I am filing this complaint letter from my client Mr. Jarrod against the Independence Australia for not serving their duty towards Jarrod. I hope this complaint must be taken into focus soon.
