Assessment Brief

You are required to work on this project in syndicate groups of four or five students. Each group member is expected to contribute information for the final report. The topic on the assignment will be released on Moodle.

Task: AFNR315 Advanced Financial Reporting Assignment

ASSESSMENT DESCRIPTION:

Students are required to work in a group of 4 – 5 students to prepare this written report. The students from each group are required to choose two or three International or Australian stock exchange-listed companies/businesses. Students are required to examine the Corporate Social Responsibility projects or reporting that the selected firms are started and gather information on what kind of CSR reporting is performed.

Students will have to be prudent and pragmatic in selecting the appropriate companies. Some research is required to select a company who has started CSR reporting in recent years. It is also beneficial to compare the performance of the firm before and after CSR disclosure. Some information on companies CSR activities and reporting should also be included in the report.

GENERAL NOTES FOR ASSIGNMENTS:

This is a group assignment and students are required to work with their respective groups.
Assignments should usually incorporate a formal introduction, main points, and conclusion, and will be fully referenced including a reference list.
The work must be fully referenced with in-text citations and a reference list at the end.
