Question 1

Select a construction project from your experience or from a given scenario and provide an overall summary of the project in report format including relevant visual information – photos, graphs etc.

In the report, outline the project stakeholders (such as client, consultant, contractor, and end-users – PLEASE DO NOT specifically name them), duration, scope (for example, construction tasks/activities and whether civil works, landscape, etc as well as the structure, unique items or features plus human resource; machinery/equipment, material resources availability.

Question 2 – Develop and defend a procurement plan for your selected construction project:

• Develop and defend (with relevant referenced and cited literature support), a plan that uses your preferred procurement method in report format (approx. 1000 words) which includes tables, graphs, photos, and diagrams as appropriate and relevant.

• Strategic context: including Need Analysisbased on requirements, Feasibility Study based on constraints, and Risk Analysis

For the selected construction project - Select 2 ‘alternative methods of procurement’ which are different from the method selected for your procurement plan in Question 2.

• Provide a descriptive and tabulated summary of the 2 differing types of alternative procurement methods AND clearly identify the specific resultant impacts of each method on the selected project’s potential performance.
