The website is optimized to provide information about Global toys and the toys it sells. The website has five pages which include homepage, board games, lego models, RC toys, and operation hours. In the homepage, an image showing the layout of the shop is displayed. The image gives a detailed layout of the shop including the location of various toys sections as well as entrance and emergency exit. The page board games displays the images of the board games offered by global toys. The titles of the games are also provided. The page lego models displays images and names of the lego models offered by the shop. The page RC toys showcases the remote controlled toys sold by the store. The page displays images and names of the RC toys. The page operation hours provides information about the shop opening hours which is essential in enabling target customers to know the time the shop is open.

The primary target consumers are individuals that like toys. The target audience includes students, teenagers, and adults. Often, adults love non-physical games where they can play as a group. Board games offered by the shop are non- physical games which can appeal to this market segment. The layout of the website has three elements menu, body section, and footer. The menu provides links to other web pages. Logo is included in the menu to align the website with global toys brand. Body section covers a large part of the webpages and provides the space to display key information about the shop and its products. The footer displays a copyright statement indicating ownership of the website. Homepage and operation hours page have one-column layout while the other three pages have three columns.

Styling presentation

CSS is used to style the web pages as well as make the design responsive in different devices. Two external CSS files are used to define various properties including color, font, background, position, etc. By leveraging on CSS, the layout is made appealing to users as it styled to have attractive text color, readable font-size, and appropriately positioned web elements. CSS is also used to style the box layout which is used in the layout.

The CSS defines the font-styles, padding, margin, and border of the box models. To improve design, various elements have class names and ID names which are used by CSS files to style each element individually. The layout includes hierarchy rules as content is displayed appropriately based on its hierarchical level. Headings are used for content in different levels. For example, <h1> is used to display page titles. The heading emphasizes the content as important in the page.

User visiting the website, view the options available on the menu which include homepage, board games, Lego models, RC toys, and Operation hours. To view any page, the visitor has to click the appropriate option on the menu to visit that page. Since the menu is displayed consistently on all pages, users can easily navigate the site. If the visitor wants to view information on the page, he can open the homepage and check the layout image which showcase various sections of the shop including entrance and exit points. 

Media

Several images are incorporated in the web design to enhance the website and appeal to taret audience. An image logo is displayed on the navigation and is used to link the website to Global Toys brand. The homepage displays an image showing the shop layout. This image is essential in informing visitors about various sections of the shop as well as entrance and exit points. The pages board games, lego models, and RC toys also display images of the products sold at the shop.

Color Scheme

The website design has a unique color scheme which enhances the aesthetics of the web site. The main colors used in the website include blue, black, and white. The body section has a white background which increases white space and reduces clutter on the layout. The color of the body section is black which makes the content displayed visible to readers. Header and footer have a blue background and the text displayed in these sections has a black color. Links on the menu have a white color. Active links have a blue color and a white background underlined.
