A Brief History and Introduction

Fanshawe College is situated in London, Ontario, Canada, at a distance of about two hours from the United States cities of Toronto, Niagara Falls, and Detroit. The Fanshawe Student Union, or FSU, is home to a variety of student clubs and associations, including the Arts Club, the Literary Society, Model United Nations, the e-Sports Club, the Gaming Club, the Computer Science Society, and various other clubs and associations.

Fanshawe is one of the finest varsity sports programs in Canada, having won more than 20 national championships, 140 provincial championships, 200+ student-athletes yearly, and 15 OCAA and three CCAA national medals in the 2019/2020 season. Students may apply for a post-graduation work permit (PGWP) that can allow them to work in Canada for up to three years, depending on the length of their studies.

According to the most current KPI (Key Performance Indicators) survey findings, Fanshawe graduates do very well in terms of obtaining work. 87.6 percent of Fanshawe graduates find work within six months after graduation. Fanshawe's graduation employment rate is the second-highest among Ontario's major institutions.
