If could do WRIT 100 again, I would change so much about my approach. In the first place, I took this course for granted. I was just doing it for the sake of doing so that I could get done with it. Things changed, however, as I was taking the course. I realized that I had a lot to learn from this course. It was really sharpening my writing skills, something which is very important.

Well, about my writing skills I can say that I was not that well equipped but with this course coming in I can now comfortably say that things have really changed. My writing skills have really improved. 

If someone taking WRIT 100 next semester approaches me and asks me on tips on how to be successful in this course my approach will be very personal. First and foremost, I’d gladly explain to them how I didn’t like this course and how things changed along the way. I would then recommend that they have a positive attitude towards this course right from the beginning and they would definitely pass this course. In order to get the better sense of the person, I would ask them if they really find it important that their writing skills improve. WRIT 100 is only looking for the ability to critically analyze a certain text and being in a position to interpret it successfully. The best way to approach this course is with the right attitude and the way not to approach it is through having a bad attitude. 

Yes. This is a very good argument for having to take WRIT 100. To be honest one never knows where they might end up in future. Having good writing skills might be an added advantage to help you get that promotion that many people have always been eyeing for, it might also be the reason you get employed in the first place. Basically, having good writing skills is very important. 

One of the adversities I encountered while taking WRIT 100 is the schedule and timing of the course. To me the timing of the course was not very appropriate. It was clashing with one of the courses I was taking which was among one of my favorites and this is the reason as to why I had a negative attitude towards WRIT 100 in the first place. If I was to redo this course again, then things would be a bit much different. I would be more focused and with a positive attitude.
