The main motive or the purpose of the project is to perform the transition plan. The transition plan will assist management to prepare transition to new local government identity. It will help to create the merger organization of City of Swan and Shire of Mundaring. Project Description:

At first the project budget that was scheduled was close to $1,500,000, however the budget of the project rises 10% within next three years. Now, the total budget that has been accumulated after three years is close to $1,950,000.

Project Approval Requirements:

The project manager is in charge to develop the project plan. The sponsor is responsible to approve the project plan. The change plan as well as the change transition plan needs to be approved by the CEO, sponsors and the directors. The project plan will contain the activities, budget and the schedule details and after the approval they can stay assure that the project will be conducted within given time with efficiency.

Project Manager:

The project manager is appointed to develop the project plan containing the schedule and the budget. He is given the responsibility to assign the stakeholders for the project. The project manager will make sure that the stakeholders are carrying out the tasks within scheduled deadline and the budget.
