Waterfall methodology is one of the oldest methodology and mainstream for the various organizations for years. PMO should follow waterfall methodology, as it is a sequence of milestones and activities including the static phases such as design, requirement analysis, testing, maintenance, and implementation (Turner, 2016). These activities should be executed in specific order. This methodology is very less complex and focuses on the completion of each step for the execution of the next step. This will help in capturing the needed or necessary requirements for the project and reduce the chances of losing requirements and key information at the initial stage of the project.
