Answer:

The specific goal of the previous assessment was to develop a convincing presentation showing how positive leadership skills would improve employee performance, engagement and wellbeing of an organization. The target audience of assessment 3 were the board of directors of the company.

According to my observations the goals were properly achieved because the presentation was extremely convincing giving a necessary introduction identifying the skills of the positive leaders in enhancing the commitment, performance and inspiration of the employees. The presentation pointed out few basic skills for an ideal positive leader. First of all, a positive leader has to be full of optimism. The communication between the leader and the employees must be transparent. An ideal leader must perform performance management activities to uplift the employee motivation. Recognition and appraisals must occur within the workplace (Shirey 2017).

            The presentation further highlighted how positive leaders can enhance the creativity of the employees and build stronger trust relationships among everyone. Positive leadership helps the employees belonging to different cultures work comfortably in a different environment (Tubin and Pinyan-Weiss 2015). They assist to empower the employees who are the foundation of a particular organization. The work energy of the workforce gets heightened if the leader is passionate about that (Gordon 2017).

I believe that the information delivered in assessment 3 were accurate because they were the literature reviewed information of scholarly articles based on the personal experiences of how positive leadership accelerates the employee performance. As a whole, according to me the presentation was helpful in convincing the board of directors regarding the necessity of positive leadership in the organization. The management understood the topic statement properly and assured that they will consider the appointment of a positive leader in the organization.
