The author has  focused on the effect of terrorist attack on tourism.  He has refered the infamous and one3 of the most grotesque terror attack of all time, the 9/11 of New York , USA while discussing about the entire mode of tourism.  The aftermath of 9/11 witnessed regular victimisation of thousands of tourists in different countries. Stringent law in USA and Australia affected the entire tourist class. David Beirman in his paper highlighted several issues pertaining to the government’s role on the safety and security of the tourists in Australia. Tasmania is one of the most revered tourist centres in the world for its huge panoramic display of nature. However, vehement terror attacks disrupted the entire industry after one or two years of the infamous terror attack.  Tasmania was affected by its government policies that did not allow the tourists to visit all the places and enjoy the tourism service freely. Tamania’s tourism was hugle affected in terms of the visit by the foreigners who used to visit the place in selection of eco-tourism However, in later years, the government of Australia amended the policy to encourage the international tourism market. It had positive effect upon the industry after 2005.

The Natural State was published in the year 2003 that focused on the nature based tourism in Tasmania. Tasmania has always remained favourite for the nature lovers who tend to visit places for enjoying the vast diversity of nature. Matysek and Kriwoken examined the involvement of nature and the effectiveness of NEAP (the Nature and ecotourism Accredition Program) initiated by the Government of Australia. The paper written by the aforesaid authors tries to analyse the effect and relevance of the Nature and Ecotourism Accredition Program (NEAP) in case of Tasmanian tourism. The authors noticed that the recreational activities in the part of Australia has increased after the magnificent intervention and initiative of the government. Though there were some financial issues pertaining to the implementation of the program, it finally became a successful program. The financial issues, according to the authors, were to be addressed and checked by the Ecotourism Association of Australia.  Another problem lay in the fact that an already existing program dealing with the entire situational cases of Tasmanian was overlapping with the newly conceptualised NEAP.  Nature based tourism was regulated by Tourism Council of Tasmania. The authors finally found that the Nature and Ecotourism Accreditation Program (NEAP) is relevant for the improvement of Tasmanian tourism. Since nature based tourism helps in building the health and mind of the tourists, it has the opportunity to carry out the basic health process. This is how the industrial benefit is ensured. In most of the cases, the tourists enjoy the eternal beauty of the nature.

In recent year, the federal Government of Australia was found to have generated several tourism related policies in order to encourage global tourism in Tasmania. The writers of the article Mr. Michael Whitford and Ms. Lisa Ruhanen has elaborated their discussions on more than thirty two policies of the federal Government of Australia pertaining to the development of the national tourism, specifically the tourism of out scarce of the country. Along with the federal government, the interventions of the state/territory governments of the country have been noticeable in the recent years especially after the great recession of 2008. The main objectives of the authors, in this article, have been the development of the process of maintaining sustainability in tourism in Tasmania. The paper is a type of recommendation where the authors invigorate the need for sustainability in tourism sector in Australia. Main focus of study in this paper is on the indigenous tourists rather than on the foreign tourists. It has been found that most of the visiting tourists in Tasmania belong to Australia. Australia’s tourism sector is influenced more by the indigenous tourists than by the international tourists. However, the growth of this sector is going uphill. Hence, the authors have stated that the motto of “one size fits all” cannot go along with the flow of indigenous tourists of the state. Due to globalisation, the varieties in the mode of culture of the tourists have increased thus affecting the concept of indigenous tourism. Diversity among the tourists has created a huge land mass of the sector that has created huge scope for the entire tourism industry.
