Since the starting age of the business, big and small business has been a big issue in this area. Small business organizations require a good structure and huge backup of customers for surviving against the larger business organizations. Josh Novak had a successful model for Glow-Foods and International Food Group (IFG) saw that. Josh expected that the transitions of the company to IFG to be difficult.

After becoming a part of IFG’s IT department, many obstacles came in his way. The team was warned by the chief technology officer (Rick Visser) that without his pre-approval the team cannot access any social media site. More difficulties came when Ben Nokonv said that they must talk to him first instead of direct contacting the production teams. The finance officer of the IT department, Sheema Singh requested the team for producing a budget plan and report for the next fiscal year. All of the concerns taken by the IT office were valid, but the problem was that the concerns were too difficult for understanding by the new team of Josh. Ben Nokonv restrict the direct connection of the team with the production teams because of his personal issue. The team was also angry with Ben because of this aggressive behavior to the team members. The restriction against the social media access by the team members was am difficult issue at tteh primary level.

The team members needed the use of social media site like Facebook for communicating the researching their ideas. However, the team and Rick both became familiar regarding the permission taking for the use of social media sites. Josh’s team members also faced problem regarding the financial reports and cost benefit analysis for the next fiscal year as requested by Sheema. The team members were IT experts, not familiar with the cost benefit analysis. It was too difficult for them to present the detailed analysis of the costs required for the next fiscal year. However, they have managed to produce an approximate budget plan for this purpose and presented it to Sheema.

After developing the three-point plan, Josh’s team was finally ready for the presentation. The plan was presented in the IT office. They exploited every corner of the three-point plan. Ben wanted the commitment over the benefits of the plan. John was worried regarding the review of the customers. Sheema was concerned regarding the business values of the initiatives taken into the plan. On the other hand Rick was worried about the security aspects in the cloud platform. In order to get proper support from these people, Josh required to slow roll the idea. In order to get the desired level of success in the plan, Josh requires to prepare a prototype model of the interactive site and cloud.

The detailed cost benefits analysis should be done for ensuring the profitability of the organization through the project. The team also requires to outline all the security risks. In order to reach the customers and make the customers satisfied with the plan, they need to use the prototype model and gather responses from the customers. Social media sites can be used as an efficient platform for this. In this way, they would be able to incorporate the ideas of the customers in the plan which would make the customer relationship management easier and efficient.
