The section includes summary of project scopes, purpose and stakeholders that are involved in the project. The project is about developing an android application that can analyze whether a person is happy or not. The application is to be developed for “Two minds technology Private Limited”; an organization providing immense support for android and website developers. Project Scopes
In this section, the project scopes are identified for showing further assumptions, constraints and dependencies. The scopes are:
- Provide rating to individual person’s spent day at the end of that day.
- Rating should be based on happiness scale; the consideration should be over three ranges as “very happy”, “pleasant”, “average” and “dull”.
- For dull day, the application will provide motivational phrase.
- The application should provide report based on happiness scale analysis; report should display weekly analysis results. Report should contain previous month/week/year’s happiness scale comparison for showing changes in mental state of individual.
- Developers should consider other factors for incorporation in the application. Factors for dullness or happiness and the developed application should say thank you for happiness.
- User should be able to invite other people and can share the happiness results.
The project purpose is to rate individual person’s day daily and provides daily analysis over happiness scale. The application will be able to emphasize how individual person’s life is either good or bad. The application development purpose lies in providing need-based utility application. The application must have simple yet responsive user interface, should have minimalist GUI (Graphical User Interface). The UX should be simple and the application should be checked on different mobile devices. The assumptions in the project are identified as following:
- Project stakeholders should perform as per required expertise and roles.
- Concerned authority should be responsible for training their staffs and stakeholders.
The constraints of the application are identified as following:
- Application should be developed on JAVA for Android.
- Application should contain simple responsive UI.
- Application should use minimalist modern GUI.
- The UX should be simple and it must be checked on several mobile devices as well.
