webpages that are intended to use for user authentication, Basic items management and loan management by the users. The application depends on the Java EE technologies with the help of the Glassfish server in order to deploy the complete web-based application.
In order implement the functionalities of the application the Enterprise Java Beans both the Message-Driven Bean and Session Bean. Furthermore, Java Persistence API (JPA) is also used in the NetBeans IDE. In this way the separation of concerns for the application modules helps in promoting the change of tiers without effecting the other,
For this application we have used an architecture that organizes the application in different tiers. This tiers are Business, Presentation, Data Access and lastly the Data layer. This architecture helps in the safe interaction of the business logic and data access. While playing their important role in the application all of them are segregated from one another to provide high cohesion and low coupling in the complete application. This architecture also enhances scalability, reusability of the codes and modules through the use of Java Beans.
