Information and communication technology or ICT is the perfect integration of telecommunications as well as computers to enable all the users for accessing, transmitting, storing and manipulating the information or data (Marchewka, 2014). The proper convergence of the several computer networks and telephonic networks could be eventually done by single cabling and link systems. The business operations can be well executed with ICT. This report will be providing a brief outline about the use and valuing of ICT in the travel agency.

Use and Value of ICT in Travel Agency

ICT or information and communication technology can be used within several industries to properly execute the several business processes or operations (Eason, 2014). The information is well stored and recorded and hence the proper execution of business processes or operations is easier in every business. The specific travel technology can be defined as the vital application of information technology in the industry of travel and tourism. The most effective form of this travel technology is the tracking of flights. These flights can be tracked with information and communications technology (Xiang, Magnini & Fesenmaier, 2015). The travel technology mainly includes system of computer reservation and hence broad range of applications can be represented.

The use and valuing of information and communication technology for better execution of business processes within travel agency are as follows:
