1. Comparison b/w OSI Reference and TCP/IP Networking Model
OSI Reference and TCP/IP Networking models are two commonly used networking models among network developers. OSI has a common and protocol free standard model that performs as a gateway of communication between end user and network. On another side, TCP/IP model is based on standard protocols on which internet is developed.
Both network models can be used according to requirements of network users due to some differences among these network models. In next segment we will compare essential features of both models.

It makes network protocols easy to use for users as compare to OSI model. TCP/IP model has only four layers that are more useful than OSI seven layers. TCP/IP network model is advanced and various new technologies are based on this network model. Therefore, today most of the network users and developers prefer TCP/IP network model for developing most advanced technologies. TCP/IP network model has potential to define internet protocol suite that is also known as TCP/IP suite. The main protocols that make TCP/IP suite are FTP, UDP, SMTP and SNMP and Telnet etc. Most of the new protocols are used by TCP/IP network model (Nelson, 2017).
