You are to prepare a Project Brief for this project. The project brief will set the basis for the rest of your assignment work in ITC504. You should approach this project as a -blue sky" project. That is. you are going to design and develop an interface that is different to those that you have previously worked on. This means that your planning will necessarily be somewhat more diffident as you will be doing research during the planning and design process to achieve your design aims.
Your project brief should include the following sections:
• Overview
The project brief should concentrate on the Overview. Vision. Outcomes. Scope and Key Assumptions at this stage. These sections define your vision for the project and should be quite well developed.
The Objectives and Success Criteria may not be well known at this stage. but some effort should be made to determine what they are. These will be added to later in the project.

Overview:
The purpose of this project is to analyse all assorted ideas to build and define a new interface for the online gift shop.
Vision:
The requirements of the stakeholders are well-organized to make clear picture of the new system design. “The target of the project is to come up with the new interface with applicable hardware and software requirement which helps in attracting customers” (Kodali, 2012).
Outcome:
The new interface will help in overcoming the problem faced by the current and existing interface used by the online gift store.
Scope:
“The scope of this project is to provide new features to the online gift shop application” (Sethi, 2011). The focus of the company is to increase the sale and distribution of the company by analysing the stakeholder and customers associated with the application.
Objectives:
The objective is to provide specific guidelines to the user for using online application. The new system should be featured with online payment system, CRM system, order management, shipping system, external tax system, and others.
Outputs:
The outcomes of the new interface are mentioned below:
- The new system shall display all the configuration of the products
- “The new system should provide the authority to the user for selecting the configuration of the product” (Perkins, 2013)
- The notification shall be send by the system to the customers about the conflict in the configuration.
- The system should provide the confirmation to the user for the completion of the current configuration.
Targets:
The target of this project is to facilitate user with the new and advanced online application for the gift store which enables them to shop and buy product by sitting at their home.
