Renaissance period has been stated as a phase of path breaking revolutions and reforms occurring in the 14th to 17th century in the European history that lead to development of new ideas, paved way for newer discoveries together with changes that took place in the social, cultural, technological and political realms. Plethora of changes paved the way for emergence of novel concepts of diplomacy, educational reforms through increasing reliance on observations and inductive reasoning. Denouncement of the conventional notions and practices culminated in the advent of nihilism in the modern era where rejection of moral and religious principles became prevalent. Hence, this gradually resulted in progression towards modernism when artistic and literary movement flourished devoid of homogeneity and conformity in the social context.
