Johnson and Johnson organization goal is to maintain a standard portfolio management, mainly focusing on the specific health care and therapeutic products. In order to achieve the organizational goal, the company follows the approach of decentralized management. The decentralized approach allows the employees to establish themselves in the company. Power and control are given to local leaders, who will be in a better position to design different products with help of research and development and meet the needs of a particular region. This approach allows the organizational head to look after major global decisions while catering to the specific needs region wise (Johnson & Johnson Strategic Framework | Johnson & Johnson, 2017).
