How do you choose the different methods you use for training (workshops, on the job training, websites, lectures, seminars)?

This is based on different factors such as the cost, location and the type of the training and the training outcomes and also based on the training agency and what kind of methods they have for their trainings.

Training comes in handy to help the trainees acquire specific knowledge and skills essential for them to perform particular tasks and duties. Different factors come in handy when one wants to choose the methods of training (Bompa & Buzzichelli, 2018). The factors are costs, the required skills, the essentiality of the technique, and the life of the training methods. When it comes to the cost of the training methods, an organization must be considerate. An organization is supposed to work within its budget. The reason for doing so is to make sure that it does not incur losses. Therefore, before a company can embark on any training method, it must consider the costs of the method to make sure that it can afford the method.

The reason why an organization needs a training session is that there are skills that the employees need. Before choosing a training method, an organization must look into the skills that are needed. After doing so, it should select the training method that provides the skills that are needed. The essentiality of the method also comes in handy. In this case, the organization must make sure that the method is of help to the situation at hand (Parson, Ghosh, Weal, & Rogers, 2014). The method must provide skills and knowledge that are needed to deal with the problems that it might be facing. When it comes to the aspect of the life of the training method, the organization must make sure that the time that the training will take will not be more than the time that is needed to fix the problem. For example, if an organization is in a hurry to fix an issue of technology, the training method must be able to deliver the results in the shortest time possible. The reason behind it is because if the method takes longer, the company might suffer.
