2.This learning process can be beneficial for developing the awareness about the use of social media and social networks by Mc Donald’s. I will apply this knowledge to use the social media and promote my business in the future. In such way, I have increased my understanding that Mc Donald’s has been highly active on social media as it is effective to connect with digitally savvy customers and helps to build loyalty among customers. I will also transfer this knowledge to develop a career in the marketing department of Mc Donald’s company.
3.I have read different articles, textbooks, and academic publication to increase the understanding of the impact of social media on business development and organizational presentation. From the literature review, I have learned that Mc Donald’s utilizes social media to sponsor their brand and also making efforts for implementing it despite facing the large number of criticism from the campaign group, health professionals, and government. As a result, I would utilize this understanding in an organization as I can enhance my professional career. I have also increased my knowledge regarding negative sides of using social media in business. In this way, it is evaluated that there is a need for the company to update the social media feed to engage the customers towards their products and services (Tiago and Veríssimo, 2014). Consequently, I will practice this knowledge in making social media strategy.
4.The business research was beneficial for me to develop my investigation proficiency as it has developed my depth data about several procedures for completing the investigation. In addition, I have increased my knowledge regarding research design and methodology. In this way, it is evaluated that research methodology demonstrates different strategies that could be implemented for accomplishing the aim and objective of research and pooling the information (Dijkmans, Kerkhof, and Beukeboom, 2015). As a result, I am proficient to apply the methodology in research in a logical mode.
5.The main reason for using different research activities during the investigation is to accomplish the aim and objective of research in specific time frames. I have observed that mixed research design would be practiced for arriving at the valid conclusion. As, this research design contains the characteristics of both qualitative and quantitative designing of research (Wamba, and Carter, 2016). Consequently, it makes competent to me for obtaining the reliable and valid outcome in an appropriate manner.
It is pointed that qualitative research design would be implemented for gathering the information. These data would be gathered by the idea, thoughts, and views of the customer (Li, and Stacks, 2015). I have also learned that quantitative research design would be used for gathering the statistical information. From the assignment 2, I have expanded my comprehension regarding the technique of data pooling. In this way, I have developed my understanding regarding data pooling tool. I have pointed that both primary, as well as secondary data technique, could be used to collect the information about research concern. In such case, it could be determined that primary information is captured via survey questionnaire whereas secondary information is captured via different sources such as academic publication, journals articles, textbooks and online websites (Agnihotri, Kothandaraman, Kashyap, and Singh, 2012).
This learning experience was significant for me to apply these techniques in business practices. The business research was also prominent for me to gain depth awareness regarding ethical consideration. As a result, now, I am proficient in attaining the aim and objectives of investigation in an ethical manner. It is evaluated that an investigator must maintain the privacy of participants during and after the research (Aral, Dellarocas, and Godes, 2013). Through the proposal of research, I have also developed my comprehension regarding limitation of research. In such manner, I have pointed that there is some limitation, which could be faced by an investigator for completing the research. These limitations could be time, cost and sample size constraint (Fotis, Buhalis, and Rossides, 2012). These limitations of research would be focused by me to conduct further investigation. Consequently, this learning experience was effective to improve my personal as well as professional life.
6.This investigation has also enhanced my understanding regarding scheduling of research. In this way, I have observed that research time plan provides the structure for completing each activity of research. In addition, it is also analyzed that Gantt chart is executed for graphical representation of scheduling regarding research (Aral, Dellarocas, and Godes, 2013). Consequently, this investigation would be beneficial for completing each practice in targeted time duration. This learning would be used by for using social media practices and becoming a good marketing manager in the future.
