Influence of Culture on Human Resource Management Strategy in Global perspective
Due to globalization, responsibilities of the department HR are transformed in various ways. Masculinity versus Femininity (MAS): Masculinity and femininity define the dispatch of emotional role among genders, which is one of the main issues in a number of localities.
If the score is high then it is Masculine and this dimension depicts that the individual in any society will be managed by participating in the various competition, achieving different goals that lead to overall success. This dimension starts right from the school period and continues to be part of one’s life whether its work or leisure activities. Indulgence versus Restraint (IND): Indulgence as another dimension proposed by Hofstede which indicate cognizance of one’s personal self control, where as restraint defines as a cultural attribute which points towards a perception of personal weaknesses which is not in control of anyone (Samnani, et.al, 2012).

Uncertainty Avoidance Index (UAI): The Uncertainty Avoidance dimension depicts the amount upto which the individual of a culture feel discomfort with unsureness and ambivalence (Chadwick, 2005). There is a different level of uncertainity which is exposed to various individuals in this category of dimension which is clearly reflected in the score of dimension that is uncertainity score.

Long Term Orientation versus Short Term Normative Orientation (LTO): Another dimension is long term orientation which signifies the ways with which each society can maintain links or socialize with its own previous attributes while proceedings with the summons of the present and future activities (Chadwick, 2005) .

Power Distance Index (PDI): The fifth dimension implies that all individuals in societies are not equal at all as they have different level class. It is clearly seen that the conduct of the culture among each individual is varied. Power Distance is viewed as the degree upto which poor individual in any organisations of any country can demand and expect the least (Juul Andersen and Minbaeva, 2013). Hofstede explained that all groups are unequal and have different consequences.

Individualism versus Collectivism (IDV): The individualism collectivism dimension which deals with groups and there in nothing which is individualistic.It emphasizes on group activities(Juul Andersen and Minbaeva, 2013).
