Urgent requirement for a data analyst. Must be familiar with analyzing data related to the health care industry. The job requires the candidate to analyze the past data of the patients and also the changing needs of the patients in the light of the increasing health issues faced by the people from the diverse parts of the world and to come up with innovative ideas to attract these patients to take the treatment facilities offered by the concerned health care organizations. In addition to these, the candidates would also be required to do adequate market research for the process of enhancing the prospects o


f the organization. Past experience would count as added advantage. Salary negotiable.  

Current need for the position

The health care industry is the one that has evolved in a significant manner in the recent time and the use of R&D, innovations, recent technologies, data analysis and others have contributed in a significant manner towards this  (Erickson et al., 2014). It is in the wake of this particular change that the concerned industry has undergone that the position of the data analyst within the health care industry has become important. It is significant to note that in the earlier times the health care used to depend on the word of mouth for the process of the promotion of the health care services provided by them and thus the number of the patients that they used to get was comparatively less (Andel et al., 2015). Thus, the role of the data analyst within the specific domain of the health care industry was not that significant. However, it in the present times it is seen that the infrastructural costs and the other kinds of equipments that they need to procure for the process of providing effective treatment facilities to the patients is very high and thus they need a higher number of patients so that they are able to meet the expenses incurred by them (Benach et al., 2014). It is a reflection of this particular fact that the role of the data analyst within the specific domain of the health care industry has gained prominence. The data analysts within the health care industry in the present times are required to analyze the past data of the patients and also the present data available regarding the health issues faced by them and the kind of treatments that they generally opt and design the strategy of the concerned health care organization in such a manner so that it is being to attract the majority of these patients to their organization (Hajkowicz et al., 2016). This is very important from the monetary perspective since the revenue earned by a particular health care organization depends on the number that it gets.

Future changes in the concerned position

The future role of these data analysts within the health care industry is likely to change in a significant manner because of the rise of the various smart enabling technologies that are being increasingly used by the various health care organizations for the process of not only collecting the required data or information but at the same time for analyzing them as well (Qureshi & Syed, 2014). Furthermore, with the rise of the various robots as well as artificial intelligence machines (AIs) the future prospects look very bleak for these individuals since within the next fifty years or so their job roles will be taken over by the above mentioned entities unless they come up with new strategies or take the help of innovations to redefine their job roles (Qureshi & Syed, 2014).

Data Analysts and Marketing

In the world of business it is usually seen that the various business enterprises are increasingly taking the help of these data analysts to analyze the data or the information collected from the various market researches as well as the surveys or others (Ginter, Duncan & Swayne, 2018). Furthermore, these business enterprises formulate as well as implement their marketing strategies depending on the data or the information provided by these data analysts (Ginter, Duncan & Swayne, 2018). In the health care industry as well, the management teams of the health care organizations take a leaf out of the business world and employ the same kind of technique for the formulation and the implementation of the kind of strategies that are likely to help them in a significant manner (Rietveld, van Kippersluis & Thurik, 2015).
