The general concept of the organizational behaviour acknowledges the suitable form of representation of the employees where the study of the organizational behaviour is a well-structured method of guiding the employees with the appropriate form of their behaviour inside the organization (Miner 2015). The study is largely divided into three parts which are individual, work groups and the how the organization behaves at the macro level (Luthans, Luthans and Luthans 2015). For the assessment I will follow the two phrases of "The Functions of Management" by Henry Fayol which are the planning and leading. Along with that some part of organizing will also be associated.
The task allocation and the capability of executing the allocated task from the part of the employee are significantly important in the planning section for the management (Kerzner and Kerzner 2017). The major issue in this section is the incapability of the employees in order to execute the assigned task. According to my assessment of the study of the organizational behaviour, this has an adverse impact on the organizational citizenship behaviour as the incapability of the employees in serving the customers with the desired level of perfection will cause customer vulnerability and that can cause a reduction in the profit of the company. The mentioned detrimental effects will enable me to consider the scope of the training for the employees who are not able to perform at the desired level of perfection. While managing the organization, this will be instrumental as it will ease out the expected level of difficulty that is related with it and will enable me to plan more freely without having the doubts on anyone's capability in executing the tasks. This will add more flexibility to the organization.
The next aspect that I will consider, will be from the "Leading" portion of the Fayol's study. I think in the modern organizational environment a major challenging factor is the conflict between the employees regarding the information. From the study of the human behaviour in an organization, I observed that employees largely consume the data without any specific evidences supporting the data and while they make the decision depending on the data, there creates a possible scope of conflict with other employees. This is found to be happening more under pressure and as that results in a blunder on the organizational level, it will harm the organization. In this case the study will help me in establishing a decision making system depending on the data which will only be taken into consideration if they are supported by authentic evidences. This will also be helpful for me in order to reduce the amount impurity that will be included with the decision making. As flawless decision making is significantly essential for the organization, this will help me in managing the organization in a better way.
The third part of my assessment will also fall under the bracket of the "Leading" as it will cover the compensation and the motivation aspect of the management. Generally from the study of the organizational behaviour, I observed that employees of any organization will not be able to perform with the desired level of accuracy or dedication if they are not compensated in a sufficient manner which will enable them to meet the basic physiological needs and the safety needs of the Maslow's hierarchy of needs. The employees are observed to operate with an increased amount of effort when the organization is able to meet their esteem needs as well. In this case I will make sure that the employees are having sufficient amount of salary in order to protect their existence and they proceed with their growth in terms of the skills in the organization as well as with the amount wealth. This will be significantly important to keep the employees motivated towards their job and that will increase the productivity of the employees as they will be free from the concern of other issues.
On a concluding note, it can be said that the above mentioned aspects are highly significant in the study of the human behaviour in an organization as the mentioned aspects relate to the employees of the organization in a significant manner. The absence of proper maintenance in these aspects from the part of the organization will increase the amount of detrimental effects that will be associated with customer satisfaction as an unsatisfied employee will never be able to satisfy a customer with his or her service.
