Introduction:
Learning is a continuous process, which starts as a child open his/her eyes in the world, and it continues till he/she departs. Every moment offers something new to learn, and explore. All it needs is an initiative to explore the unexplored, and understand what has not been understood before. Being a part of this class was a learning experience from the very beginning. It helped me actualize my potential in the competitive world of business today. Before 1970’s the concept of teamwork in business was nothing more than an illusion, whereas now it is considered an integral part of the working environment and business success (Batool, 2012). With the dawn of globalization and technology, the workplace is fast becoming diverse, where people from different competencies, backgrounds, and cultures come together, to strive and attain mutual goals, making it more competitive than ever before (McMahon, 2011). Not only that, the fine line between managers, and leaders is fast diminishing, and to succeed all the managers have to exhibit leadership qualities (Noure Elahi, 2013). Therefore, this module held core significance in the peer’s personal and professional development, preparing us to succeed in the competitive world of business today.

3.0 Gibbs’ reflective cycle
For reflecting on the skills and knowledge I have acquired during the course, I will use Gibb’s reflective cycle. It is one of the popular, and commonly use model for thoughtful writing. The model is based on six stages including description, feeling, evaluation, analysis, conclusion, and action plan (Williams, 2012).

3.1 Description
The role of leadership and team management is essential for the business success in the contemporary business world dominated by competition (Noure Elahi, 2013). The diversified workplace, enhanced labor mobility, and ever increasing competition have redefined the role and application of leadership in the business world. At the same time, relationship management has become a critical challenge as well. A team is a collection of people with different personalities, perception, coming from different cultures, and hold different values (Batool, 2012). Diversity is a vital part of any working environment, which amplifies the critical to people management .The course comprehensibly, covered all the different dimensions of team leadership, membership and managing relations skills (Millett, 2011).
3.2 Feeling
Being a part of the course was a continuous learning experience. It will be an asset for my personal and professional life. Throughout the course, I was always analyzing my leadership skills, identifying the gaps, and actions. I helped me understand the significance of leadership in any organization. Now when I reflect back, I can confidently say that I have learned and gained knowledge, which I lacked before regarding team leadership, membership and managing relations skills.
3.3 Evaluation
The content during the course was presented in an inspiring manner. The logics and examples helped me understand how critical it is to develop leadership skill professionally. I have gained comprehensively understanding of the desired attributes of an ideal leader. I have realized that I am analytical, creative, humble, a good communicator, a visionary, realistic, maker, and courageous. On the other hand, I need to work with my conflict management and decision-making process.
3.4 Analysis
There are different school of thoughts and theories explaining the variance in people leadership potential. A school of thought supports “the Great Man Theory” proposed by Thomas Carlyle, which rests on the assumption that leaders are born naturally, and cannot be made. It is an inborn talent, which polishes with time. On the other hand, “the Trait Theory” states that leadership is a skill, which can be acquired, and learned through experience, passion, confidence, dedication, and conviction (Williams, 2005). In my opinion, I have all it needs to become a leader, and I am confident, determined, dedicated, and committed to polishing my skills to perfection. I may not be a born leader, but being a part of this module has plainly shown me the direction, which I will follow to groom my leadership skills to perfection.
3.5 Conclusion
To become a leader, I have to work with my conflict management and decision-making process. Moreover, as a leader I am analytical, creative, humble, a good communicator, a visionary, realistic, maker, and courageous.
4.0 Action Plan (Personal Development Plan)
A close analysis of my leadership reveals that I am analytical, creative, humble, a good communicator, a visionary, realistic, maker, and courageous. On the other hand, I need to work with my conflict management and decision-making process. While making the decision, sometimes, I become too judgmental and base my decision on my perception, rather than the reality on the ground. In addition to that, team management is a collection of people with a unique approach, and distinct personalities, which make conflict and friction unavoidable. Sometimes, I strongly feel that I need to emphasize more on my conflict management skills. This module revealed that I need to put an extra effort and focus on overcoming these challenges, to become and effective leader.
