Being a book-worm myself, books and magazines have remained an important part of my life. Although I love reading any kind of books, I am especially fond of the motivational books and magazines that aid in my personal growth.
I believe in the maxim: “What you are is what you read”, and thus while investing my time in reading, I ensure that I am reading something that will prove to be fruitful for me. I usually read the motivational magazines which consist of the successful businessmen of our time, and how they successfully built their own empire of success, surmounting unthinkable odds of their lives. It inspires me and fills me with so much awe to read about the lives of Oprah Winfrey, J.K Rowling or the personal interviews of industrialists like Bill Gates. The Success Magazine and The Optimist are my personal favorites in this genre of magazines. Books Besides, the motivational books also inspire me to achieve big things in life and become a better person. These books usually highlight the importance of perseverance and patience in life, and during my bad days, I read these books to retain my courage and determination to achieve, despite the scary odds, daunting me. While the motivational books like Think and Grow Rich and The Greatest Salesman in the World have filled me with hope for my coming future, the book As a Man Thinketh has taught me the importance of becoming humble and humane, for leading a happy life.
We encounter failures in life, and in order to get back and rise up to fight the world, we need the help of motivational books and magazines that truly inspire us to think big, and make our lives larger.
