A new feminist theory encompassing the old avant-garde describes a new term “en dehors garde”. "Toward the outside," signals the feminist movement of 'thinking out of the box' and stepping up to compete with tribalism and racism. Avant-garde in the military was an oppositional movement, which portrays a limitation to people of color, opposition to predominant culture, women artists, and disabled artists. En Dehors Garde, the new feminist ideology enabled the marginalized to enjoy privileges from art institutions and got a way ahead to transform objecting cultures that hindered them from performing work of arts(Loy, 2017).
