2. I recommend you select one of the general academic databases listed on the right-hand side of the page. They are: Academic Search Complete (EBSCOhost), Omnifile Full Text, and ProQuest Central.

 

3. Select one of these databases and using the search feature, type in “your topic” (do not use the quotation marks). Pollard, Kuiper and Meredith (2010) stated that the nursing occupation is dealt with the important challenges that are related with the increasing shortage and diversity lack in workforce. The challenges are addressed via programs for the underrepresented middle school. Students can develop the collaboration in between the regional schools, health care partners and academic. Pollard, Kuiper and Meredith (2010) mentioned that the experiences are given to explore the serious thinking ability in the simulated laboratories. Clinical practice areas in the nursing are included. The theory of Planned Behavior and the self-efficacy guided the program. The program may have early evaluation that is revealed the positive tributes and the increasing interest of the students in the practicing nursing as the occupation. The collaborative program in between the academic and the practice area, for example, the Camp Bones supply significant opportunities for the students of middle school to explore the nursing profession and engage them during formative years.

Reaction on the article:

The main reason of choosing this article is that I am interested in the academic and career aspirations. I was curious to check the useful materials of the research. For the middle school students of college, the necessary thing is the education and effective teaching. They need to interact effectively and efficiently with the teachers. When the students are able to interact with the teachers and other faculties, they can provide better case assessment. I am very happy to see the efforts of the author. They researched a lot on the topic and referred to the articles of other author to discuss the paper. The article influenced me and motivated me to develop the relationship with the faculties of my college. This will help me in developing the scores. The data collection method of the researcher is very interesting that attracted me.
