In the following paper, I am going to elaborate my passion about cooking. At the very first, I should mention that I am very much passionate about cooking. I believe cooking is essential for our everyday life and it is such a necessity that we cannot skip. On the other hand, passion is such a thing that motivates us and pushes ourselves achieving our desires. I have understood that passion makes us proud and without it, a dream cannot be achieved. Moreover, I believe passion pushes us to dream about our desires, which finally drives our willingness to interpret dream into reality. Sometimes I feel that cooking helps me to escape from all the stress and problems that I confront at some point of time. It is a kind of relief that I get when I cook. Explaining my love and passion for cooking cannot be explained in simple words. All I know that cooking is the hobby that makes me forget about the tension and worries that I have to face every day and energizes me to carry out my regular activities.

I believe my role model is my mother with the help of whom I learnt all the essential things related to cooking. I think my passion for cooking enhanced due to my willingness to serve people. It has always given me pleasure to feed people and make them happy. In my life, I have not seen any better cook than my mother and it is not only because of all the delicious food, which she makes but also because of the experiences she shows through her cooking. She teaches every step with ease and makes them easy for me to apply. That is why, I love spending time with her in the kitchen. Whenever I need to take any decision I take suggestions from her and whenever I find any trouble, I find her by my side all the time.

Here, I need to mention that my interest in cooking started when I was in my graduation. One day, I was alone in my home and hungry very much. At that time, I did not have any idea about how to toast bread or make other easy things to cook. However, I thought to try it and then I started. I should confess that the dish was something that gave me immense pleasure and happiness being it the first dish that I made. The first dish, which I made, was a lamb curry. That first experience was a big disaster. The taste has been horrible as I lacked experience and a proper idea about the ingredients and their right proportions, like - salt, turmeric, ginger & garlic paste, red chili powder. However, from that moment, I made up my mind that I would be a good cook someday. After I made the first dish and identified my mistakes, I started to make new recipes, as I believe “Experience makes man perfect’’. I feel more confidence and have been trying to improve my capability of cooking better food. I think that if I will be able to devote some more time in cooking, I shall be able to improve my skills in cooking. Moreover, I can take cooking as my profession as well that will eventually help to get to the position where I want to reach. I would always want to devote my heart and soul to cooking and become a successful cook one day.

Food does not only provide nourishment and is not a thing that helps us to survive but also it is a fun and pleasure. Now I am capable of cooking all by myself and I can make a huge variety of foods like soups, curries, desserts, appetizers, sandwiches, juices and cakes. Now I love to visit different restaurants so that I can try different foods with different tastes and textures. I love spending my time in learning new dishes. Now I believe cooking as well as eating healthy food had always been passion. Here, I should mention that since childhood whenever my parents and friends take me to any Chinese, Italian or to any other place apart from Indian restaurant, I do not know why it used to make me feel bad. I should confess that I have a strong love for the authentic Indian food and hence, I want to specialize on Indian foods. I think people should learn to cook well, enjoy having foods and teach their children to do as well.

I have a huge passion in serving peoples with the food, which I make. I want people to know about my food and let me know how it tastes, so that I can identify my flaws and improvise them. My parents have always supported me and taken care of me in my life and so it is also my responsibility to take care of them. I can cook good food for them and serve them with love. I want them to enjoy their life happily together. Thus, I want to pursue my carrier as a cook and I deliberately hope that one day I reach my dream. My passion for cooking and my aim to become a successful chef in future has taught me so many things in my life. Now I know how to cook with ingredients with proper quantity and how to serve people properly. I have also planned to open a restaurant in my hometown, which will specialize in Indian, Pakistani, Italian and Mexican cuisine. I would like serve food of different cultures thus my restaurant will feature in varied cuisines. I want people to try different cuisines. Most significantly, in my hometown, there are varied restaurants, which features in Indian and Middle Eastern but no proper restaurants, which serves authentic Mexican food. Hence, along with authentic Indian, I want to learn to cook Mexican cook as well. I hope that I will be able to fulfill my dream soon.  Finally, I would like to mention that I want to become a well-known chef and earn immense popularity, so that everybody knows my name and appreciates my work.
