Some of the notable best practices of teaching include a balanced curriculum, differentiating instructions, provision of active learning opportunities, effective communication practices and more. The practice of effective teaching enables the students to develop a love for gaining and learning new knowledge and skills, improve their attitude towards the matter of the subject, being eager and passionate about the subject being taught. According to researchers, effective teaching is much more than an intuitive procedure (The Guardian, 2017). This is because the concept of effective and good practices in teaching takes rigorous time and effort by the instructor to act on those decisions and actions. In the context of this topic, some of the best practices in the context of teaching ELLS or English language learners and the students of the general classes are the following.
