ASSESSMENT 2: CASE STUDY
You are a massage therapist and a client calls your clinic and tells you she has Temporo-Mandibular Joint Dysfunction. You are unsure about the details of this condition and whether you are able to safely and effectively treat the client. You need to research the condition.
1. What are your research objectives?
- Understand TMJ Dysfunctions.
- The muscle groups.
- What kind of massage skills can use.
- The reasons cause the disease.
2. Select at least two (2) data gathering methods and explain in what order you will use them.
- Use google scholar to find studies, systematic reviews about disease, at the same time can search some treatment documents.
- Use industry journals/publication to find any information, such as AMT, MMA.
3. How will you organise the data you collected? Make sure you organise your data in a way that will assist with analysis and future use.

The information from article of ozone therapy is what I would like to research. I obtained the useful knowledge and skills which can help me to do effective treatment plan for the patients with TMJ. However, there is an issue we need to conduct other experiments to check the accuracy of usage of oils or treatment period of ozone oil therapy.
