4.Demonstrate cross platform choices and mobile application implementation techniques.

Please note that Appendices should only include supplementary information, not information critical to your work.

Your submission should consist of the following:

• Design documentation: Class, interface, enum diagrams, or description templates. Test plan to test functionality and ensure it meets requirements. Technical descriptions of your solutions i.e. how you solved each requirement (use of loops, conditional statements, use of collections etc.).
• Development: Screen shots of the application performing tasks and the original code for the program in plain text with code comments.
• The program source code: The full source code for the chosen solution
• Test documentation: a test table listing all the functional requirements, inputs and expected outputs and if your program produces the desired output when tested.  
• NOTE: You must submit the full project directory as a zip file appended in the appendix section of your report document. Failure to do so will result in a mark of Zero.

Requirements

You have recently been recruited as a graduate mobile app developer for Mecachrome Software Ltd working in a team of business analysts, database developers, UX designers and programmers on a project to develop a database backed tourist app for London.

The purpose of the app is to improve a student accommodation app for students with spare rooms to advertise at university.

• A registration page to allow students to register. Capturing: email addresses which must be unique and will be the login name, first name, surname and password.
• Three kinds of user can register. A student who can view rooms, enquire of rooms, landlord and estate agents who can list rooms or flats.
• Students should be able to login to their accounts using their email address and password. Users who are not registered should be denied access to posting reviews and enquiry features of the app.

Where options to: view the categories of:

• Here a list of the rooms should be listed.
• When the user clicks on one of the room advertisement, a new activity with details of the room should then be displayed with options to write reviews if the user is an agency or a landlord, or to view existing reviews.

Students

• Students can view rooms, enquire about their availability via an internal messaging system, rate a landlord or estate agent and post a spare room in their flat for rent.

Landlords and agents:

• Can post rooms, apartments and flats for rent and should ideally post the hyperlink to a website where the room is officially advertised so the student can verify the veracity of the advert.
• Landlords and agents can remove the room if it becomes unavailable. They can respond to messages.

Forum

• A forum should exist for international students with London life topics and chats.
• Users can join chat rooms and contribute to the dialogue. Chats should be listed in chronological order.
