Students must use at least five (5) secondary sources for the research project. The secondary materials must be scholarly sources (from peer-reviewed journals / periodicals and books). You are also expected to use a variety of sources (monographs / book-length works, peer-reviewed journal articles, and electronic resources). Plot summaries, book reviews, and overviews will not be considered appropriate secondary sources. If you are in doubt about the quality of your sources, please see me. ? Your essay must have an argument / point / thesis worth proving and should demonstrate diligent research.
