rogram the Click event for each of the following buttons as outlined below, calling the appropriate methods you have written already, on the appropriate buttons.

· List Customers – This button should first clear the listbox and then add the customers in the CustomerDB list to the listbox on the form.

· Clear List – This button should clear listbox and set the focus to the search textbox.  

 

· Update – This button should first validate a customer is selected in the listbox (see other events over the page explaining selecting an item from the listbox).  

Then validate the first name, last name and phone textboxes, update that object’s attributes in the list with the contents of the textboxes, clear the textboxes, clear the listbox, and add the updated list back to the listbox.  

 

· Add – This button should validate the first name, last name and phone textboxes.

 

Add a new item (Customer object) to the list consisting of the contents of the first name, last name and phone textboxes, clear all objects on the form (textboxes and listbox) and add the updated list back to the listbox on the form.  

· Delete – This button should first validate a customer is selected in the listbox.

Then double check the user is sure they want to delete the selected customer, by way of a MessageBox with YesNo buttons.  

If their response is yes – Remove the Customer object from the CustomerDB list, then clear all objects on the form and add the updated list back to the listbox.  

If their response is No – display a MessageBox saying “Operation cancelled”.

· Search – This button should first validate the search textbox.  
Then find the index of that customer in the CustomerDB list, and using the index; add that Customers attributes to the listbox on the form (with tab spaces between each attribute).  You will want to clear the listbox of any previous data first.

 

· Clear – This button should clear the first name, last name and phone text boxes and set focus to the first name text box.

OTHER EVENTS:

 

· Selecting an item from the listbox – This event should firstly take the selected item in the listbox, split it into an array of strings, separating each element at the tab space.  Assign each element of this array into the first name, last name and phone textboxes to enable updating.  Then using the first name (the first element in your string array) you can then find the index of that customer in the CustomerDB list, which can be used to update or delete that customer from the list.
