Excursion to Blue Hills Aged Care Centre
You are the lead educator in the Preschool room at the local Early Education Service. You have 24 children each day. The children range in age from three to five years old.
The children will walk to the Blue Hills Aged Care Centre each week and spend an hour at the centre with residents reading stories and doing a music group time.
You have two educators in the room with you each day and have access to six parents to assist with the excursion each week.
The Blue Hills Aged Care Centre is located on 123 Blue Hills Road, Blue Hills and is a short walk from the service (allow 15 minutes), with a pedestrian path all the way and one main road to cross at traffic lights.
