Design a ±15 Vdc dual voltage plus earth output switching regulator supplied from a 9 Vdc battery. The output current must be at least 1 A. Use appropriate components. Prepare an engineering report that: i)Describes the technical aspects of the SMPS. ii)Shows the full schematic circuit diagram of the SMPS. Appended on the report (notpart of the 5 pages), should be your Simetrix simulation circuit and output voltagegraphs and values. iii)Provides the specifications of the SMPS, e.g. FF, RF, ripple peak-to-peak, etc. Notes: This is deliberately set as an open topic. At your level in your studies you should be able to find many examples from the internet. The Engineering Report is limited to a maximum of 5 pages and must use the following format: •A4 size paper •Top and bottom and outside facing margins set to 25mm (1”). Set the gutter margin to 12mm (0.5”). Selectmirror margins. (The report will be printed double sided for binding). Select page setup dialogue box to setthese parameters. •Must be word processed. No hand written material. •12 point font size for all text and headings. ARIAL and/or TIMES NEW ROMAN acceptable. Arial is oftenused for headings and Times new roman for text body. •Text must be “justified aligned”. •Do not indent paragraphs. The modern style is for no paragraph indenting. •Use one and a half-line spacing (1.5 lines in format paragraph dialogue box). •Submit report electronically.
